Dosing Tips Dosing Tips

The dose is self explanatory: how much ground coffee you dose into the filter basket

The dosing process:

  • Group Handle out
  • Purge group head
  • Wipe out group handle to dry it
  • Dose your coffee
  • Tamp
  • Light tap
  • Tamp/polish to present a flat even coffee surface
  • Wipe top of filter basket to remove any loose coffee grinds from the lugs
  • Insert group handle
  • Activate brewing cycle within 3 seconds
  • Espresso extraction should run for 30 ml in 25-35 seconds
